The ratio between seat capacity and population in Karachi is 1:40,

If, there are 12500 minibuses/coaches,

it means there are 12500 drivers plus 12500 conductors (fare collectors),

It means 25000 people work on minibuses/coaches every day,

These drivers and conductors run the minibus/coach almost 20hours a day,

They do not sleep properly,

They do not take food properly,

They do not relax properly,

Due to which:

They are always tired,

They are always irritating,

They are always quarrelling,

They are always dirty,

They try to relax by playing bharti substandard music in full volume,

They are always impatient so they race buses beyond speed limits,

So:

There are always accidents,

People die or injure every day,

Even those, who do not use minibuses, are in constant danger,

What is wrong if city government imposes the law that:

No driver should work more than 9hours,

No conductor should work more than 9hours,

By imposing this law, the job opportunity will automatically expand from 25000 to 50000 people,

They will take proper sleep,

Owners of minibuses/coaches pay around Rs: 600/- to each driver and conductor each day,

So, drivers and conductors get Rs: 600/- each for 20hours of work every day plus 4hours of rest in 24hours,

Now, drivers and conductors will earn Rs: 300/- each for 9hours of work every day plus 15hours of rest in 24hours,

And,

One should be local of Karachi either driver or conductor,

If, driver is non-local, then conductor should be local, or,

If, conductor is non-local, then driver should be local,

Because, travelers are usually local,

So, one local either conductor or driver, will be good for interaction with travelers,

City government may allow short or long term loans to local people of Karachi,

So that people of Karachi could enter into public transport business,

What’s wrong in it???

Why these steps are not taken???

Who stop them??? Religious parties??? Sectarian parties??? Who???

Who stop them from disciplining public transport in favor of people???

But the simple conclusion is:
