Indeed, the Glorious Quran contains many scientific facts concerning varied fields such as botany, physiology, embryology, geology, geography, etc. This is not surprising to a Muslim because the Quran itself declares that it will convince people of its veracity in every age:

"Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?" [Al-Quran 41:53]
