Forgiveness and Hope

Allah the Almighty has said: ‘O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and hope in Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds in the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with an earthful of sins and were you then to face Me, without having associated anything with Me, I shall grant you an earthful of pardon.”

  1. Forgiveness! One of the hardest thing's for a human to do, especially me I tend to practice (pretending) that I have forgiven. Because I have not forgotten! how do you do it? Give me more STRENGTH.

    Of course!
"Son of Adam" is merely a translation of a figure of speech in Arabic that refers to "human", as all humans are the descendants of Adam. Allah makes absolutely no distinction of man over woman when opening His doors of boundless forgiveness!
Allah says in the Quran, Surah Al Nisa' (The Women), "And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed." [4:124]
This is a translation of only one shade of an ocean of beautiful meanings! Always hope for the best with Allah, as He says Himself that He will give you the best hat you expect of Him. :)
