  1. thanks and I have received the literatures sent to me.May Allah Almighty Bless u for spreeding the words of Islam, Assalamu Aylaykum.

  2. I have just received you literatures but I need to get a quaren where can I get one free I don't have any money but would love to have one.

  3. How could an illiterate man of 40 put to memory a long surah in one revelation such as Al- Baqarah which has 286 verses? What proof is there not to support that angel Jibreel could have been Satan himself & that Prophet Muhammad was duped? Who else bore witness to Prophet meeting Jibreel over the 23 year period? Where is the original copy of Quran; the one written on bones, wood, papyrus & stones by the scribes. Surely that is the original Quran! What is the Uthmanic Quran & where is the 1st edition of this? Should children be reading it; especially Surah 2, verse 222 …about sex & mensturation?

  4. IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY ANSWER TO ANY QUESTION ABOUT THE kURAN REQUIRES A HUGE AMOUNT OF EXPLANATION. tHIS IS BECAUSE THE RULES AND DAILY REGULATIONS OF iSLAM WERE ALL INVENTED BY MEN…AND ARE STILL BEING INVENTED TODAY.

  5. Faiz Rahman Syed says:

ok, if you want to see the miracle of Qur'an, go to any school where kids are memorizing the Quran inshallah you will the mirackle of Quran kids age of 5 and 6 and up are memorizing the quran Mashallah.

  6. Faiz Rahman Syed …True, many Muslims send their young offspring to madrassas where they rote learn & put the Quran to memory but sadly most of them do not understand a single element of what they learn because few understand or speak Kufa Arabic (the language of Quran). Is it beneficial for Muslim kids to study about sexuality or forbidding them from making friends with non-Muslims (Surah 3.28) or that they should kill non-believers (Surah 2.191) (Surah 9.5) or kill Muslims who turn their backs on Islam (4.89) I hope you let as many people; including Muslims, especially those kids who memorise Quran to read my reply! I am not making this up because it is contained within the Quran. Please let the Muslim kids read the Quran but let them also know the meaning of what they read, because then the truth may be different…..inshallah .there is nothing miraculous!

  7. Faiz Rahman Syed says:

Yeah, I would advice and suggest to all who are memorize and reading the quran with understanding the life will be different inshallah. I am a small student of religion, what my understanding after reading different religious scriptures I found that Quran is the only book on this face of earth which gives you the guidence in all aspects of life, people misunderstanding by reading a single verse which I consider it out of context, if people want to understand any particular verse which they misunderstood they have to read few verses before and after and research the situation that verses was revealed of that period would understand better and it can be implemented in their lives until they live and rest inshallah. If any one think in negate and dont want to understand and keep critisizing others may Allah SWT guide them to right understanding and right path inshallah, Quran is the not the property of Arabs or muslims, it is revealed for whole of the humanity, please read it with complete understanding we all be guided inshallah.

  8. Asif Sadiq says:

    Samy Sinniah Counder
respected people peace be up on you all.
u r asking did prophet memorise… there are testimony and nothing else.. but those testimony are different than any other historical collection. and quran can be memorised by anyone even those who dont understand the language.. a recent survey estimated nearly a every masjid has atleast 2 persons who memorised quran completely.. and they said the number will be nearly 10 million… can u imagine any other book memorised till this extent… this quran is easy to memorise..
the present status of number of people memorised quran is the proof

  9. Reply to Faiz Rahman Said….noted your comments about your understanding of Islamic Quran. Which holy books from faiths other than Islam have you read?
Seeing that you find everything for life in the Islamic Quran, can I ask what are your views on Surah 3.28 & 3.118?
I think it forbids Muslims having Jews & Christians as friends. Are such verses valid for our present (2013) times?

  10. George Caco says:

No, I do not have any misconceptions about Islam. It is in fact a distortion of the Gospel. No misconception there.

  11. Faiz Rahman ……please try for the sake of honesty to approach islam in open mind SAMY made some good points and asked some though and provocative questions that aim to help reexamine your islamic beliefs but instead you chose to run away . It is true that muslim kids memorize the quran but how does memorization ensure the preservation of the Quran?

  12. Zahoor Basha says:

“Allaah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allaah loves those who deal with equity.
It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allaah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers those who disobey Allaah)”
    [al-Mumtahanah 60:8-9]

  13. Zahoor Basha says:

1 – It was narrated from Sa’eed ibn al-Musayyib that his father said: “When Abu Taalib was on his deathbed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) entered upon him, and Abu Jahl and ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Abi Umayyah were present. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘O uncle, say Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, and I will plead for you before Allaah.’ Abu Jahl and ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Abi Umayyah said: ‘O Abu Taalib, will you turn away from the religion of ‘Abd al-Muttalib?’ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘I will keep on praying for forgiveness for you until I am forbidden (by Allaah) to do so.” Then the following aayah was revealed:

“It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allaah’s forgiveness for the Mushrikoon, even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief)”

    [al-Tawbah 9:113]

    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4398; Muslim, 24

2 – It was narrated that Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “There was a Jewish boy who used to serve the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and he fell sick. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to visit him; he sat by his head and said, ‘Become Muslim.’ The boy looked at his father, who was present, and he (the father) said: ‘Obey Abu’l-Qaasim (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).’ So he became Muslim, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) left, saying, ‘Praise be to Allaah Who has saved him from the Fire.’”

    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1290.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave permission to Asma’ bint Abi Bakr to receive her mushrik mother (when she came to visit her), and ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) gave a gift of a garment to his mushrik brother.

It was narrated that Asma’ bint Abi Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “My mother came to visit me at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and she was a mushrik. So I consulted the Messenger of Allaah, (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and asked him, ‘My mother wants to visit me and expects me to treat her kindly; should I uphold the ties of kinship with my mother?’ He said, ‘Yes, uphold the ties of kinship with your mother.’”

    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2477; Muslim, 1003

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both) said: “ ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab saw a silken garment being sold at the door of the mosque. He said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, why don’t you buy it and wear it on Fridays and when the delegations come to you?’ He said, ‘This is worn by one who has no share in the Hereafter.’ Later on some silken garments were brought and the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave one to ‘Umar. He said, ‘Are you giving me this to wear when you said what you said about the garment of ‘Utaarid?’ He said, ‘I did not give it to you to wear.’ So ‘Umar gave it to a mushrik brother of his in Makkah to wear.”

    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2470; Muslim 2068.

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan said: There is nothing wrong with visiting kaafirs in order to call them to Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) visited his paternal uncle Abu Taalib when he was dying and called him to Islam, and he visited the Jewish boy and called him to Islam.

But visiting kaafirs in order to have a good time with them is not permitted, because it is obligatory to hate them and shun them. It is permissible to accept their gifts because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) accepted gifts from some of the kaafirs, such as the gift from al-Muqawqis the ruler of Egypt

  14. Zahoor Basha says:

We avoid close freindship because our weak believers may not involve get the dirty practices of them even it may be muslim freinds.
Muslim avoid saying jesus is god or son of god, muslims dont drink, mislims dont eat pork, muslims wear hijab, muslims avoid movies and filty thing etc., list goes on so as precaution we avoid close freindship

  15. What is your point Zahoor,? why are you dancing around the question instead of answering it. The question is what are your views on Sura 3:28 and 3:118 you posted a lot of narrations that have nothing to do with the question sir. You said muslims avoid close friendship with unbelievers….. I think you try to correct Muhammad and allah sir. Sura 3: 28 ,118 don't say to avoid close friendship with unbelievers , let me post them here for you: According to Muhsin Khan a salafi muslim:
3:118 O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you.. ….

    3:28 Yusuf Ali
Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah.

sura 3:7 commands you to believe in scholars so let's see how your scholars understand these passages:
Tafsir al-Jalalayn on sura 3:28 Let not the believers take the disbelievers as patrons, rather than, that is, instead of, the believers — for whoever does that, that is, [whoever] takes them as patrons, does not belong to, the religion of, God in anyway — unless you protect yourselves against them, as a safeguard (tuq?tan, ‘as a safeguard’, is the verbal noun from taqiyyatan), that is to say, [unless] you fear something, in which case you may show patronage to them through words, but not in your hearts:

Ibn Kathir on sura 3:18(unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda' said, "We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.'' Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, "The Tuqyah is allowed until the Day of Resurrection

see my friends these scholars don't understand these passages as to say to avoid close friendship but to do exactly what muhammad and allah ordain that is "not to take unbelievers ( jews and christians) for friends. but if you do just "smile in their face and curse them in your hearts" that is satanic 101 my muslim friends.

  16. Many people who are not familiar with the Quran or did not make a good effort to study it are confused about the issue of befriending people from other religions. Many of them make grave judgment on this matter. Quran is a complete book that occasionally presents a law or commandment over several chapters or several verses in the same chapter and the practical part of this commandment can be achieved by understanding the whole issue as presented over all the verses and chapters and not by upholding only part of the Quran. God specifically warn us against doing just that, upholding part of the Quran while disregarding the rest. [Quran 2:85] …Do you believe in part of the scripture and disbelieve in part? What should be the retribution for those among you who do this?.. To understand the issue of befriending the Jews and Christians , we have to study all the concerned verses together in light of the whole Quran. I heard many people mention 5:51 with no referral to the rest of the verses that discuss this important issue. [Quran 5:51] O you who believe, do not take [certain] Jews and Christians as allies; these are allies of one another. Those among you who ally themselves with these belong with them. God does not guide the transgressors. Now, let's look at some other verses about befriending the Jews and the Christians, or anyone not Muslim (Submitter) for that matter. These two verses are regulating relations with any people, regardless of faith; [Quran 60:8] God does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. God loves the equitable. [Quran 60:9] God enjoins you only from befriending those who fight you because of religion, evict you from your homes, and band together with others to banish you. You shall not befriend them. Those who befriend them are the transgressors. Thus, we learn that we are only enjoined from befriending those who fight us because of religion. Let's go back to the verse immediately after 5:51 , to see if it now sheds some more light on the issue. [Quran 5:52] You will see those who harbor doubt in their hearts hasten to join them, saying, "We fear lest we may be defeated." May God bring victory, or a command from Him, that causes them to regret their secret thoughts. Thus, it is clear that this is a situation when there is a division and an overhanging conflict between the believers and the others. Otherwise, what would be the logic behind the statement. "We fear lest we may be defeated." In these situations those with doubts in their hearts will ally themselves with the enemy. 5:57 makes it clear again, who are not to be taken as friends; [Quran 5:57] O you who believe, do not befriend those among the recipients of previous scripture who mock and ridicule your religion, nor shall you befriend the disbelievers. You shall reverence God, if you are really believers. God teaches us throughout the Quran that there are righteous Jews and Christians. So, if we think we are righteous, and they are righteous, what could possibly be the problem between us, or obstacle for us to be friends? [Quran 7:159] Among the followers of Moses there are those who guide in accordance with the truth, and the truth renders them righteous. [Quran 5:46] Subsequent to them, we sent Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming the previous scripture, the Torah. We gave him the Gospel, containing guidance and light, and confirming the previous scriptures, the Torah, and augmenting its guidance and light, and to enlighten the righteous. [Quran 5:47] The people of the Gospel shall rule in accordance with God's revelations therein. Those who do not rule in accordance with God's revelations are the wicked. [Quran 2:62 & 5:69] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in God, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. [Quran 3:113-114]. They are not all the same; among the followers of the scripture, there are those who are righteous. They recite God's revelations through the night, and they fall prostrate. They believe in GOD and the Last Day, they advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and they hasten to do righteous works. These are the righteous. [Quran 3:199] Surely, some followers of the previous scriptures do believe in God, and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They reverence God, and they never trade away God's revelations for a cheap price. These will receive their recompense from their Lord. God is the most efficient in reckoning. We learn, however, from the Quran that the Christians are closer to the believers (submitters-Muslims) than the Jews. This is just a statement of fact by God almighty, that we can still witness during our time. God is the best knower of the emotional structure of His creations and therefore was this statement of fact in 5:82 . We can witness from the conflict in the Middle East for example , how very emotional the Jews get and how they react to conflicts with their friends, their enemies or even among themselves inside Israel. [Quran 5:82] You will find that the worst enemies of the believers are the Jews and the idol worshipers. And you will find that the closest people in friendship to the believers are those who say, "We are Christian." This is because they have priests and monks among them, and they are not arrogant. This verse should not be used by any mean to negate the fact that among the Jews (and Christians) will be righteous people who can be good friends as explained in the above verses, they do not fight us in our religion or our homes. They can be our neighbors, colleagues, friends, co-workers…etc We will be good to them as they are good to us. We, all the righteous people of all religions ,can make the difference and make this world better by respecting each other, respecting the freedom of choice of each other, and remember that we all have the One and the same God.
